Job Title:
Supply Chain Manager
Pay Rate:
$75,000-$100,000 depending on relevant experience
Hours:
8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Description:
- Oversee all supply chain operations including purchasing, inventory control, vendor management, and logistics to support efficient production in a precision machining environment.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve supply chain strategies that align with production goals, cost targets, and quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, tooling, and finished goods to support just-in-time manufacturing without disruption.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving delivery or quality issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely procurement of materials andponents orders.
- Review MRP/ERP data to manage purchase orders, lead times, and material forecasting based on current and projected workloads.
- Analyze supply chain metrics, identify bottlenecks, and rmend improvements to processes, workflows, and sourcing strategies.
- Ensurepliance withpany policies and external regulations regarding purchasing, documentation, traceability, and inventory control.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects related to cost savings, vendor consolidation, and process optimization.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Proven ability to manage vendors, negotiate pricing, and source technical materials or services
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, job shop environments, and material planning requirements
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, JobBOSS, Oracle, etc.)
- Intermediate to advancedputer skills including Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables), Word, and Outlook
- Exceptionalanizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams andmunicate clearly across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Previous Applicable Skills & Experience:
- Create and manage purchase orders and work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Develop material forecasts and demand planning based on production schedules
- Track and maintain material certifications, lot traceability, and inventory records
- Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues or shortages in coordination with QA and production
- Reduce material waste and improve procurement efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives
- Support internal audits and maintain accurate supply chain documentation forpliance purposes

Pay Details:
$75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
