9AM to 6PM, Monday to Friday This role at Retro vGames’ Fleetwood Warehouse will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring smooth inventory management, logistics, procurement, and warehouse operations. This role involves optimising supply chain strategies, reducing costs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of products to maintain optimal stock levels. The Manager will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, develop and implement efficient logistics strategies, and ensure on-time deliveries from suppliers and to customers while managing inbound and outbound shipments. They will coordinate with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for international and domestic shipments while optimising warehouse storage and transportation for cost-effective solutions. Inventory and warehouse management will be a key responsibility, requiring the manager to maintain optimal inventory levels, implement control measures to prevent shortages or overages, and work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient storage, picking, and dispatch processes. Monitoring inventory turnover rates and conducting periodic stock audits will also be necessary. Procurement and supplier management duties will include sourcing and managing reliable suppliers for products and packaging materials, negotiating the best pricing, terms, and quality standards, and monitoring supplier performance. Vendor evaluation systems will be implemented to ensure consistent quality and timely deliveries. The role requires analysing sales data, market trends, and customer demand to create accurate demand forecasts while working with the sales and marketing teams to align inventory levels with business needs. Effective stock replenishment planning will be a priority to avoid supply chain disruptions. Cost and process optimisation will be crucial, identifying cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain process and improving efficiency through automation and data-driven decision-making. Lean supply chain strategies will be implemented to minimise waste and optimise resources. The Supply Chain Manager will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in warehouse operations, manage risks related to supply chain disruptions, transportation delays, and inventory shrinkage, and implement best practices for quality control and product handling. A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or warehouse management, preferably in eCommerce or the gaming industry. Experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and warehouse operations is necessary, along with knowledge of ERP and WMS systems such as Odoo. Strong analytical skills for demand planning and inventory optimisation, excellent negotiation skills for vendor and supplier management, and a problem-solving mindset to handle supply chain disruptions are required. Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools, along with the ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments, is essential.
