Fleet Manager Remarkable Liquids 2 Van Buren Blvd, Guilderland Center, NY 12085 Remarkable Liquids, independent, passionate distributor and importer of the finest fermented beverages, is located in the Albany, NY area. We were ranked on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest growing private company in America five times. We are currently looking for a Fleet Manager to oversee our Drivers and trucks. This position offers the opportunity to become part of a great team of individuals driven to deliver the best quality Craft Beer to our customers. Responsibilities Management of Driver staff, including remote drivers. This includes interaction and oversight regarding Delivery Issues, Safety, Compliance, Training, Personnel Issues, route assignments and customer complaints. Work closely with the Director of Operations in the areas of Driver recruitment and Driver performance issues. Regular site visits to remote drivers in Yonkers and Rochester. Work closely with our Primary Router utilizing software to establish delivery routes and track driver’s deliveries. Also serve as the secondary Router. Serve as an emergency Drop Truck Driver to our Spring Valley depot when driver shortages arise. Review driver logs and complete tax compliance paperwork. Work with our vehicle insurance carriers on fleet related issues. Weekly route scheduling and driver assignment. Requirements Multiple years of Supervisory/Management experience required. Professional Delivery Driving experience. Current CDL Class B License required. CDL Class A strongly preferred. Strong communication skills and prior experience working with the public. Ability to move 165 pounds. Minimum high school degree or equivalent. This position offers paid time-off, health benefits and company paid life insurance.
