JOB FUNCTION

Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the operations and activities of the Warehouse; train, assign, supervise, evaluate assigned staff, respond to customer inquiries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations making sure all areas are covered.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees and assign workloads to warehouse workers.
• Monitor employees’ warehousing performance: Maximize the reports to manage timely and accuracy with daily operation.
• Answer email inquiries in a timely manner; collaborate with other peers on this to provide a solution.
• Assure proper and routine maintenance is provided by users of warehouse equipment.
• Observe health and safety regulations; maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• On time; accurate receiving and palletizing of technical area
• Maintain regular attendance to set the example

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

• Warehousing in general. Shipping and delivery.
• Operation of a forklift and other assigned warehouse equipment.
• Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology.
• Space utilization and inventory techniques.
• Principles and practices of training and providing work direction.
• Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Automated warehouse management system.
• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the operations and activities of the DC
• Train, supervise, and evaluate personnel.
• Utilize space efficiently and effectively.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Work independently with little direction.
• Observe health and safety regulations.
• Read, interpret, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
• College or field certification
• 10 years of warehouse or related experience.
