K Work Schedule:

Assigns staff and monitors the flow of products through the plant. Make recommendations for process improvement.
Essential Functions:
Ensures operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Inspects the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment. Communicates the need for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Collaborates with other distribution centers and business leaders to ensure coordination of all business. Participates in employee safety and plant protection activities. Provides leadership, ensures adherence to company practices and procedures, applies corrective action when needed. Interviews, trains, and retains staff. Conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiates follow through with disciplinary action when appropriate for the department. Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a role model and resource to them Performs other duties as assigned.

Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and strong motivation toward company, team, and individual results. Ability to work effectively with others as well as build and maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships. Must be able to read, analyze, present, and interpret written documentation. Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers, Must have good time management and organizational skills. Must have a good understanding of USDA regulations. Ability to solve business problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule formats. Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.

Desktop or laptop computer. Networked printer/ copier/ scanner. Google Applications (Chrome, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.) Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer) Telephone and Voicemail. Specific Software for company RF Scangun Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) Shrink wrap machine Educational & Experience Requirements High School / Equivalent Forklift certification must be obtained upon hire and maintained during employment required. Warehouse experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.
