Position:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes monitoring the inventory and shipment accuracy or products going in and out of the facility, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. This role ensures operating procedures are always followed. Essential Duties, Functions and/or
Responsibilities:
Develops, implements, and maintains policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team
Supervises all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift
Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised. This role is a Supervisor 70% of the time.
Supervises inventory control process
Resolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company
Reviews, prioritizes, and organizes all outgoing orders
Schedules equipment maintenance as required
Coordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues and requests
Leads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary
Performs administrative tasks as necessary
Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations
Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew
Ensures ISO or AS standards per QMS are being followed
Helps Operation Manager to resolve warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.
Coordinates with the Operations Manager to manage personnel issues and requests.
Maintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.
Helps maintain HR system activities for the team
Henkel AS certified sites – must be familiar with Henkel Spec Report
Must maintain DOT and IATA certifications for self and reports.
Understand how to create and edit various warehouse reports through ERP system. Responsible for working reports related to warehouse operations
Handle daily functions of QT9 reporting. IE Calibrations, NCP, PM work orders in a timely manner
Schedules equipment maintenance as required
Indirectly responsible for product quality
Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required ; some advanced education or training is necessary to meet the competency standards listed below
6+ years warehouse operations experience, preferably from industrial, electronics assembly, or Aerospace and Defense distribution disciplines
6+ years inventory management experience (cycle counting and reconciliation, Disposition of Non-conforming product, managing shelf-life sensitive items, temperature monitoring, etc.)
4+ years’ experience working with Distribution software systems, Warehouse management system experience (wireless RF gun) is a plus
Experience working with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) to drive process efficiencies desired
Strong inventory control skills
Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
Commitment to excellence and high standards

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Forklift certified or able to become forklift certified
IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion
Must comply with all safety requirements
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
