Material Handler Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate a sit-down forklift and be responsible for verifying paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions. Your primary role will be to safely move products and materials within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate and train as a forklift operator, with a preference for 2 years of experience. Verify paperwork, work orders, and shipping instructions. Kit and move products safely using a sit-down forklift. Handle materials efficiently, including palletizing, packing, loading, and unloading trucks. Assist in shipping and receiving activities. Essential Skills Proficient computer skills. Proper communication abilities, including reading and writing. Experience operating forklifts, preferably 2 years. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in aerospace material handling is a plus. Proficiency in packaging, picking, and material handling. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, Connecticut. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.16 – $21.16/hr.
