Job Description
•Warehouse Operator 1•Perform production support functions. Meet the daily production support requirements deadline by efficiently transferring and compiling parts. Ensure parts are transacted in SAP, labeled and packaged according to specification. Complete stocking functions and update QWMS. Schedule movements both internal to facility and for shipping / receiving.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for reading, understanding and following work instructions pertaining to the tasks of picking, transacting, cycle count and inventory.
Perform in a cross-functional environment, coordinating with other departments such Quality, Warehouse, and Materials.
Pick and prepare parts in an efficient manner, meeting internal incremental deadlines.
Build and pack out shipments, assuring proper labeling and documentation.
Communicate professionally via email with Program Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor and customer contacts regarding the status of parts and shipments.
Coordinate with offsite personnel for cycle count and inventory as necessary.
Actively seek ways to improve processes.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Performs all other related job duties as assigned by the area supervisor or lead.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
Forklift driver is preferred.
Good email communication skills.
Some SAP knowledge.
MS EXCEL
experience, good to moderate user
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
