Miscellaneous Temp – WAREHOUSE WORKER (Health Services) 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 160 North Main Street, Memphis, TN 38103 Position Summary Works under the general supervision of the manager to perform work of an unskilled and physical nature in and around a warehouse or storage area.

Pay Grade:

41H Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications 1. Six (6) months of related unskilled work experience; AND 2. High school diploma or possess a GED ;

AND 3. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders. 2. Organizes merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated locations. 3. Inspects received boxes for undocumented/ unordered shipments, shortages, and/or damaged items. 4. Maintains warehouse and related tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. 5. Assists in the inventory of warehouse stock and inventory reconciliations. 6. Safely loads and unloads trucks and delivers items. 7. Assists in maintaining records of established procedures and accurate records of deliveries within established program procedures. 8. Assists in maintaining records of requisitions, shipping invoices, running inventories, purchase orders, and deliverables as it relates to warehouse tools and equipment. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. KSAs 1. Knowledge of basic warehousing, storage, and distribution methods and procedures. 2. Ability to learn safety rules and regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment usage. 3. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. 4. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment to include vehicles and forklifts. 5. Ability to understand and follow both oral/ written instructions. 6. Ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance. 7. Ability to successfully perform basic math. Special Requirements 1. Must have a valid TN driver’s license or secure one as of employment date and maintain a satisfactory driving record. 2. Must be able to work in a warehouse. Physical Requirements 1. Must be able to stoop, squat, crawl, and perform other physical duties as needed to investigate locations and animals and to apprehend animals when needed. 2. Must be able to lift or pull up to 50 pounds at a time. 3. Must be able to work in all types of weather. 4. Must successfully pass a physical assessment.
