The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and optimizing supply chain processes. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of parts procurement and inventory management within the automotive industry. Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and high levels of customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and receiving of parts to maintain optimal supply levels. Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and ensure accurate tracking of all parts. Collaborate with the procurement management team to negotiate prices and establish relationships with suppliers. Utilize AS400 software for tracking inventory levels, processing orders, and managing supply chain activities. Analyze demand planning data to forecast needs and adjust inventory accordingly. Provide training and support to staff on best practices in customer service and parts management. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies within the parts department. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients and suppliers. Proficient in supply chain management principles and practices. Knowledge of pricing strategies related to automotive parts. Experience with inventory management systems, particularly AS400 or similar software. Familiarity with auto body repair processes is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control.
