This role is essential to the success of our commercial roofing service division, ensuring the seamless coordination of service requests, technician scheduling, customer communication, and job documentation. About the Role As a Commercial Roofing Service Coordinator , you’ll serve as the central hub between clients, service technicians, project managers, and vendors. You’ll manage incoming service calls, prioritize and dispatch crews, and maintain accurate records of ongoing work. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of roofing materials, systems, and repair processes. You will help ensure that repairs and service work are handled promptly, efficiently, and with top-tier customer satisfaction. In addition, you’ll work closely with the accounting and estimating teams to make sure service orders are properly documented, invoiced, and closed out in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily scheduling of service technicians for repairs, inspections, and maintenance work across multiple commercial roofing sites Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service status, scheduling updates, and work completion follow-ups Review incoming service requests, determine urgency, and assign to appropriate crews based on availability and skill set Maintain accurate service logs, work orders, time sheets, and photo documentation Communicate with project managers and estimators to prepare quotes, update job statuses, and ensure service delivery meets client expectations Work closely with suppliers to order and track materials needed for repairs or warranty work Monitor job progress and proactively address delays, rescheduling needs, or access issues Assist with warranty claims, inspection reports, and documentation related to roof system manufacturers (e.g., GAF, Firestone, Carlisle, Johns Manville) Support the billing process by reviewing completed jobs and ensuring all required documentation is submitted
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in a coordination or dispatch role, preferably in the construction or commercial roofing industry Familiarity with low-slope and steep-slope roofing systems, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and shingles Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management abilities; able to juggle multiple service tickets at once Knowledge of service software platforms (e.g., FCS Control, ServiceTrade, JobNimbus, or similar) is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Ability to read work orders, roofing repair scopes, and general job documentation Customer service mindset with a professional, solutions-oriented approach Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Nino Development is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
