Responsible for error free execution of processing customers’purchase orders or any other order management relatedactivities. Effective problem solver, detail oriented. Ability to communicate product discrepancy specificationinformation to customers. Build strong working relationships with both internal and externalcustomers. Coordinate/communicate customer requirements or purchase orderissues to Customer Care Specialists, Product Specialists andmanufacturing facilities. Professional phone skills and written communication skills toinclude excellent use of grammar and sentence structure. Ability to flex across customers, markets, and segments to ensuretimely responsiveness to customers. Participation in department training as identified. Motivated Team Player-ability to lead and participate withinself-motivated work teams. Proficiency with computer programs such as SAP, Microsoft Office,Excel, Word, and SharePoint. Associate Degree Preferred. Excellent typing and keyboarding skills. Proficient math skills. Ability to work a variety of work schedules, including holiday andweekend emergency coverage. Flexibility of 8-hour work schedules, M – F, is required toaccommodate standard operating hours. Hours may include 8:00am to 5:00pm, 9:00am to 6:00pm, 10:00am to7:00pm, or 11:00am to 8:00pm, or some variance of those hours.
Schedules do not change frequently, but could change based on teamand/or department requirements. Candidate expected to be on-time with minimal interruptions to workschedule. Represent Corning Optical Communications to the customer in ahighly effective, professional manner.
