is looking for a client-focused accountant who values cultivating relationships to join our team. BMSS was established in Birmingham in 1991 and has grown to become a top 100 advisory and CPA firm in the U.S. We have five locations in Alabama (Hoover, Downtown Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, Mobile) as well as one in Mississippi (Ridgeland). We would prefer for this candidate to be located near one of our Birmingham office loactions. Our services include tax planning, compliance and assurance, merger, and acquisition, advisory, wealth management, accounting services, payroll, and IT Support. BMSS strives to give all clients “peace of mind” and believes in exceptional client experience.

What you will be doing:

This position will be responsible for client accounting solutions and delivering high-quality service in line with the firm’s core values. The primary expectation of this role will be to provide accounting solutions for clients based on client needs ranging from producing monthly financial statements, processing payroll, handling accounts payable and general ledger review.

Skills needed to be successful:
