Mercedes Benz Service Advisor Mercedes Benz 6520 University Drive NW, Huntsville, AL 35806 Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert advice on automotive services and repairs. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while promoting our services effectively. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally as they arrive at the service department. Assess customer needs and provide recommendations for automotive services, including oil changes, repairs, and maintenance. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Manage service appointments and ensure timely follow-ups with customers regarding their vehicle status. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all service orders. Collaborate with mechanics to align customer expectations with service capabilities. Maintain a clean and organized service area to enhance the customer experience. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Stay updated on automotive technology trends and dealership offerings to provide informed recommendations. Qualifications CDK and MyKaarma experience. Strong sales skills with a proven track record in upselling services or products. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. A background in mechanics or automotive service is advantageous but not required. Must possess a positive attitude, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
