Service Writer Position Available In Rockingham, New Hampshire

Service Writer 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 156 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833 New England Truck Center is looking to hire an experienced Service Writer for our Exeter, NH location. This role requires great attention to detail, excellent customer service and communication skills. A background within the heavy-duty diesel industry is preferred but not required.

General Responsibilities:

Greeting and assisting customers with service needs. Develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer relations/rapport. Verify warranty and service contract coverage. Maintain accurate documentation and communication of job details. Act as liaison between customer and technician. Calculate and process customer payments, including deductibles. Timely follow through on customer billing. Schedule is Monday – Friday 8AM to 5PM with OT as necessary. Some flexibility required.

Requirements:

• General knowledge of diesel truck industry.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills a must.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop skillset within heavy-duty diesel industry.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
