AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

Non-Exempt Essential Job Duties:

The essential job duties referenced above are important for the job to be accomplished. Other job duties may be required. Administration of warranty claims in a timely manner Claims coding Claims Submission Adhere to manufacturer compliance procedures Ensure dealership is paid for all warranty work in an accurate and timely manner by preparing, flagging, submitting, and following up on each claim Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt of replacement parts Communicate with Service Advisors and Technicians to define the score of a warranty claim resolution and to set expectations Follow up with each claim to ensure service delivery to the customer and compensation for the dealership Keep abreast of all factory recalls, announcements, and procedures

• Participate and keep up to date with on the job training and continuing education required by Manufacturers, Vendors and other outside sources as requested by Management.

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years automotive or warranty experience

• Ability to communicate well with mechanics, customers and management
• Willingness to participate in in-house and outside training
