Cypress Veterinary Clinic is a growing, community-centered small animal practice in downtown Kennett Square. We’re looking for a compassionate, upbeat Customer Service Representative who enjoys helping people and pets while supporting a team that values collaboration, kindness, and a love for animals. Our privately owned, two-doctor practice opened in 2022 with a mission to combine high-quality medicine with a friendly, personal touch. This is your opportunity to help shape our hospital culture and grow with us! Cypress Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative. The key is to be an amazing, friendly human! To be short and sweet here is what CVC is about, we love animals and our families and strive to give every employee time with both. Our 3000 sq ft building has 5 exam rooms. (opened the end of May 2022) We have digital X-ray, Dental X-ray, a Cloud based software, complete Idexx In-house Lab suite, an ultrasound, a therapeutic laser, routine surgeries and even chemotherapy! More to be added as we grow. We offer a boarded surgeon and ultrasound to our clients in house. We are a two vet small animal practice that includes exotics. We have a great, supportive and friendly staff! The culture of your hospital is of the utmost importance!

Hours:

M-F, on average 20-28hours/week. NO weekends. NO holidays. Hourly rate based on experience. Bilingual in Spanish is a bonus. 40 PTO hours, scrub allowance. What we are looking for simply: A happy, dependable and kind team player. The ability to multi-task, answer phones, used computers and take detailed notes.

Job Description:

• Customer Service Representatives are the first people clients interact with and set the tone of how our practice treats their patients. CSRs need to exude our culture. Be patient, listen, show compassion and sympathy. Understand the emotion clients feel towards their pets when they are worried.
• Telephone and computer skills are necessary!
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a busy environment.
• Educate clients on basic pet care, vaccines, and preventative medicine.
• Previous experience or training/education working in a veterinary facility is ideal but not required.
• Triaging client concerns and relaying information to the clinical team.
• Help maintain a clean, professional workspace-especially the lobby.
• Can work independently on different hours of the day.
