Cordova Safety Products, a division of Bunzl, is seeking aCustomer Service Representative for our location in Memphis. TheCustomer Service Rep will answer customer inquiries, enter andsuccessfully process orders (40-50 daily). This position will alsobe responsible for investigating customer inquiries and shippingissues, providing a successful resolution, and maintainingrelationships with both internal and external customers withexceptional service.
Shift:

Responsibilities:
- Handles a variety of in-bound calls to determine the appropriatecourse of action
- Ensures delivery of excellent customer service through fast andaccurate processing of orders
- Communicates and coordinates with other departments to resolveinquiries
- Serves as a liaison between customers and the industrial salesdepartment
- Provides pricing and delivery information and processesorders
- Builds and maintains business relationships with customers byproviding prompt and accurate services to promote customerloyalty
- Makes out-bound calls as needed to keep clients updated regardingpromotions, new products, and to secure new orders
- Assists customers in the selection of products according to theirneeds/requirements
- Utilizes computer systems to assist with pricing, availabilityand alternate product selection
- Receives orders and resolves pricing situations encounteredduring customer transactions using current sales policies
- Works effectively with others in a team-based environment toaccomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems
- Assists in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors, includingobtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pullingnecessary internal documents
- Submits credit requests, as needed
- Enters sample orders and follow up with the customer regardingthe performance of the sample to obtain an order
- Assists with processing and shipping sample orders, as needed
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized working environment
- Conducts all functions, duties and responsibilities in aprofessional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degreepreferred
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
- Handles all requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- A high degree of energy, reliability, and organizationalskills
- Good computer skills with proficiency in the use of MicrosoftWord, Outlook and Excel
