Youth Visual Arts Teacher Description:
The Mosesian Center for the Arts (MCA) is seeking an experienced and dedicated visual arts teaching artist to join our team for Summer 2025, specifically: July 7-11 July 28-August 1 August 25-29 We provide interdisciplinary programming 9am-3pm for Grades 1-5 and Grades 6-8 at our arts center in Watertown, MA. This is a 1099 contract position. Teaching artists are paid a stipend of $1200 per week to account for planning and facilitation. Pay periods are biweekly.

Qualifications:
This position requires:
- Prior experience teaching elementary school students
- Interest in teaching participants of all skill and experience levels
- Passion for the arts and developing visual arts curriculum/programming
- Excellentmunication andanizational skills
- Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with Youth Education Director
- Reliable transportation to the Mosesian Center for the Arts (Watertown, MA)
