Stamford, CT (with travel)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, standard business hours; occasional evenings and weekends required

Duration:

6-month

Temp-to-Hire Compensation:

Straight-time pay for all hours worked (including those over 40 hours/week)

Travel:

Required (4-6 trips per quarter); travel is reimbursed

ASAP About the Opportunity ServicePoint is seeking an experienced AV Administrator on behalf of our client for a 6-month temp-to-hire role based in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as an AV Technician or AV Integrator , with deep expertise in Microsoft Teams and Crestron Flex video conferencing solutions. This role is essential to ensuring seamless unified communications (UCC) across a global organization, including domestic and international offices.

Key Responsibilities Design & Architecture:

Collaborate with technical teams to architect UCC solutions using Microsoft Teams and Crestron Flex technologies.

Implementation:

Lead system implementation and deployment efforts, including configuration and integration across multiple sites.

AV Installation & Integration:

Physically install AV hardware (displays, projectors, microphones, racks), terminate cables, and ensure all systems are installed to spec.

System Administration:

Manage user provisioning, system updates, access controls, and ongoing maintenance of Teams and Crestron Flex platforms.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Serve as escalation point for AV and UCC technical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring reliable service.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure systems meet security protocols and regulatory standards for data protection.

Enhancement & Optimization:

Continuously identify and implement improvements in AV/UCC systems for greater collaboration efficiency.

Documentation:

Maintain thorough documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.

Training:

Deliver user training and support to promote adoption of Teams and Crestron Flex capabilities.

Vendor Coordination:

Liaise with vendors and technology partners for product evaluation, escalations, and ongoing support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience working with AV systems, specifically Microsoft Teams and Crestron Flex platforms. Proven AV installation experience, including physical setup of displays, control systems, cabling, and rack equipment. Solid knowledge of UCC protocols and AV standards (SIP, H.323, PSTN, video codecs). Proficient with network fundamentals, security best practices, and enterprise system integrations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to travel to customer sites across the U.S. approximately 4-6 times per quarter (all travel expenses reimbursed). U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders strongly preferred ; H1-B candidates may be considered as a last resort. Nice to Have Certifications such as A+, CCNA, Security+, or Microsoft 365 certs Hands-on cabling experience (mounting TVs, terminating cable) Experience with AV room design and layout Experience managing AV vendors and third-party partners Additional Information / Disclaimers This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity through ServicePoint, supporting a global client. Candidate must be comfortable with occasional extended work hours (beyond 40 hours/week); overtime will be paid at straight time . The customer has approximately 20 U.S. locations (mostly major metros and suburbs) and additional offices in Singapore, London, Toronto, Vancouver, Mexico, and Paris —international travel is not currently required, but global collaboration is part of the role. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background check and onboarding processes.
