The Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling, on-brand messaging that supports performance across growth, organic, and brand channels. This role develops copy for email, social, web, and paid media, and plays a key role in executing the retail brand rollout. The Copywriter reports to the Creative Director and supports the Senior Copywriter, taking on executional writing tasks that enable higher-level strategic work and long-term brand growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include : Copywriting & Content Development Write high-performing copy for growth campaigns and organic social that supports channel performance and brand storytelling Develop original content across touchpoints including email, web, paid ads, social media, and customer communications Execute copy updates for the retail brand rollout, helping maintain consistency and cohesion across new and existing assets Collaboration & Creative Execution Partner with the Creative and Growth teams to translate briefs into copy that converts and engages Support the Senior Copywriter by handling executional writing tasks to free up time for strategy, research, and testing Help evolve Bonafide’s brand voice through thoughtful application across formats and channels Messaging Consistency & Optimization Maintain alignment with Bonafide’s tone and style guidelines across all creative Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the branded copy library Monitor trends and audience insights to inform copy that resonates and performs
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THE ROLE
Growth and organic social copy consistently drives strong performance, helping campaigns meet or exceed benchmarks for engagement and conversions. Retail brand messaging is applied clearly and consistently across channels, supporting a smooth rollout and cohesive brand experience. The Senior Copywriter is able to focus on strategic initiatives, thanks to reliable, high-quality executional support. Copy requests are turned around quickly and thoughtfully, enabling the team to stay nimble across evergreen, campaign, and ad hoc needs. Bonafide’s brand voice is clear, engaging, and consistently expressed, helping build brand equity and audience trust across touchpoints.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have: 4+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a DTC, CPG, or healthcare environment. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing styles and successful campaigns. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback effectively. Strong understanding of brand voice and ability to maintain consistency across all channels. SEO experience and knowledge of best practices for writing optimized digital content. Passion for storytelling and crafting content that resonates with and empowers women.

National Target Base Pay Range:
$135,000
- $229,000. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $150,000
- $254,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits. This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
