Exciting opportunity for a talented, and motivated designer to join the team offering a hybrid schedule. Work on expanding young contemporary sportswear/ denim tops and bottoms. Be part of a growing team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
Design styles and research new fabrics that are new, and aesthetically appropriate for the brands
Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to execution
Ability to translate design direction from mood boards
Create tech packs as needed
Proficiency in sketching illustrations
Knowledge of denim washes, construction and techniques
Adhere to the time and action calendar
Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production
Maintain and meet all deadline demands
SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel and Simparel is a plus
CAD experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
