Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented candidate to join our Design Team, focusing on our Hurley lines. The ideal applicant will play a crucial role in supporting design and ensuring that our creative visions translate seamlessly into high-quality garments. Essential Functions (Including but not limited to): Collaborate closely with the design team to understand creative concepts. Develop and create accurate technical packages.

That would include the following:

Creating on AI files for Color Pages/ BW detail pages/ specific detailed construction pages/ Trim Pages in AI Input of the above information into PLM Creating BOM Issuing the tech Pack and communicating with cross-functional teams about passing TP to the maker Maintain all necessary updates and communicate updated information. Work closely with the Design team to troubleshoot and resolve related issues. Provide technical expertise during the design pass off, advising on construction techniques, fabrications, and finishing details. Evaluate proto samples, ensuring they align with design intent and quality standards. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing processes to continually enhance product quality and efficiency. Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company’s needs and operations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Technical Fashion Design 2-3 years of experience in the design/technical design field Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Exceptional multitasking, communication, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Computer Skills:

PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, or other systems as needed, a plus Fast acting and adaptable to change. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills This is an on-site position at our New York City office.
