Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and drawings using SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD for industrial equipment, particularly in the area of air filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and possess the ability to transform conceptual ideas into practical designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet technical specifications and project requirements.
• Perform calculations and simulations to support design decisions and ensure functionality and safety.
• Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to mechanical design and air filtration systems.
• Assist in the prototyping and testing of new designs to ensure performance standards are met.
• Support manufacturing and production teams with design-related queries and issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer, preferably in the industrial equipment or air filtration industry.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 2D AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with air filtration systems and industrial equipment design is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex design concepts clearly.
