. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field , 2+ years of translation experience (preferably in manufacturing) , and fluency in both written and spoken English and Japanese .

Key Responsibilities:

Translate technical documents, reports, and conversations between English and Japanese. Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, training, and on-site discussions. Assist Japanese visitors and executives , ensuring seamless communication. Act as a cultural liaison , bridging communication gaps across teams. Maintain accurate records of translated materials and interactions. Support cross-functional teams (engineering, production, HR, management) with language needs. Stay updated on industry terminology and company policies for accurate translation.

Qualifications:

Education:

Associate’s Degree in Business or related field ( Bachelor’s preferred ).

Experience:

2+ years in translation ( manufacturing experience preferred ).

Skills:

Fluency in English and Japanese (written & verbal). Strong technical translation abilities in manufacturing/engineering contexts. Proficiency in translation tools, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems . Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Cultural awareness to facilitate international communication.

Certifications:

JLPT N1/N2 or other relevant certification is a plus.

Work Environment:
