As a certified court interpreter, you will play a critical role in ensuring clear and accurate communication in legal proceedings, including court hearings, depositions, and trials.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional interpretation services in court proceedings and legal settings. Interpret spoken language simultaneously and consecutively between Spanish and English. Ensure accuracy and maintain the integrity of legal proceedings. Collaborate with judges, attorneys, and other legal professionals to facilitate effective communication. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements:

Certification:

State or federally certified court interpreter (e.g., Certified Court Interpreter by the Florida Courts or equivalent). Advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English (native or near-native fluency). Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures. Excellent listening, speaking, and comprehension skills. Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism. Experience working in judicial settings is highly preferred. A degree in Interpretation, Translation, or a related field is a plus.
