The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers. Duties

• Provide accurate and confidential interpretation services in medical settings
• Interpret conversations between healthcare providers and patients to ensure clear communication
• Translate written materials such as medical records, documentation, and forms
• Assist with explaining medical terminology to patients
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times Qualifications
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience in interpreting in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to interpret sensitive information accurately and impartially
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey messages between parties
• Multilingual skills are a plus
• Familiarity with child protective services, social work, and documentation review would be beneficial
