Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for adynamic Associate Director/Director, Commercial Analytics to joinour growing commercial team. We want someone who cares about thisimportant work, and who’s driven to connect to our mission ofhelping the patient communities we serve. The AssociateDirector/Director, Commercial Analytics will be responsible forleading business and competitive intelligence initiatives for theAgios portfolio. The candidate must have demonstrated abilities tointegrate multiple secondary and primary data sources (includingcompetitive intelligence), gain and leverage insights fromcross-functional colleagues, and have an inquisitive mindset inorder to develop meaningful and actionable insights for thebusiness. It will be essential to have the ability to provide aholistic and clear perspective on national performance trendsacross KPIs, based on data trends, field intelligence and othersources. The role will also lead the competitive intelligenceefforts for the portfolio and integrate these insights to informstrategy and execution.
What you will do:
Lead performancereporting initiatives that provide a comprehensive and integratedunderstanding of brand performance and customer insights; clearlycommunicate strategic implications and ideate on potential tacticsto drive business Continuously seek to better understand underlyingbusiness drivers through a methodical approach leveraging dataanalytics, field analytics, and other secondary / primary sourcesin collaboration with commercial team members and external partnersIndependently develop pre-launch & post-launch reporting plan andmetrics including dashboard creation to effectively monitor andreport commercial KPIs to brand, commercial, and executiveleadership Drive competitive intelligence efforts to highlight keyinsights / implications and guide strategic marketing initiatives,clinical development, R D strategies, and business development;apply innovative approaches to efficiently scale scope and impactAct as an internal consultant to stakeholders across commercialanalytics, commercial operations, commercial excellence, marketing,sales, market access, clinical, regulatory, finance, manufacturing,and other functions, to support strategic decision making What youbring: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, orLife Sciences or equivalent experience; graduate degree a plus 6-8years minimum of direct experience in performance reporting, dataanalytics, competitive intelligence, and market research in thebiopharmaceutical industry Prior launch experience required,including experience with pre-launch, launch, and post-launchperformance reporting; demonstrated understanding of the key stepsincluded building reports, conducting analytics, and integratinginsights across sources Experience leading competitive intelligenceinitiatives across a portfolio with the ability to succinctlycommunicate key insights and implications to different types ofaudiences; understanding of practical AI applications tocompetitive intelligence efforts Inquisitive mindset continuouslyseeking to uncover underlying business drivers and novel insights;ability to proactively challenge internal assumptions and go beyondthe “obvious” answer through rigorous application of logicProficient in transforming unstructured business issues / requestsinto actionable plans and simplifying complex concepts;demonstrated ability to independently solve difficult problems aswell as ability to find creative solutions where needed Havedemonstrated ability to communicate with clarity, succinctness andconfidence with executive-level colleagues Ability to delivervalue-added results that meet high quality requirements withintight deadlines and to manage third-party vendors effectively ontime and within budget Concerned that you don’t check off every boxin the requirements listed above? Work location for this role is based on employees individualpreference. This role has the ability to be either remote in the USor hybrid in our Cambridge Headquarters. Hybrid schedules vary butare generally less than 3 days per week onsite and hybrid employeesare expected to live within commutable distance to our CambridgeHeadquarters. Remote employees work entirely from home except forattending Company sponsored events/ meetings. Competitive and equitable performance-based compensation. Thisincludes base salary and both short- and long-term incentives thatare connected to our business strategy and vary based on individualand company performance. The current base salary range for thisposition at the Associate Director is expected to be between$149,069 and $223,604 annualized and the current base salary rangefor this position at the Director level is expected to be between$178,203 and $267,305 annualized; final salary will be determinedbased on various factors including, but not limited to, years ofrelevant experience, job knowledge, skills and proficiency,degree/education, and internal comparators. Competitiveperformance-based compensation. This includes both short- andlong-term incentives that are connected to our business strategy.
