Role:

As a Studio Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming face of our studio, helping students and families feel at ease during their portrait sessions. From checking in clients to assisting photographers and keeping our space tidy, your role is key to making sure every session runs smoothly. _ This is a great entry-level opportunity for anyone interested in a future photography career. Many of our photographers started in this exact role, and we’re happy to train those who want to grow into a camera position over time! _

What You’ll Do:

Greet customers and provide session instructions Assist with check-in and gather needed information Help students with attire for their session Support photographers in the camera room (props, backgrounds, etc.) Perform basic data entry and image processing Maintain a clean and organized studio (lobby, restrooms, etc.) Pitch in with additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must Ability to pass a FBI Background Check A team player with a positive attitude Great with people and strong communication skills Dependable, honest, and hard-working Comfortable with basic computer tasks Able to multitask and adapt to changes High school diploma (or equivalent)

Schedule:

Our studios are open Tuesday-Saturdays throughout June and July from 9am-5:30pm Our hours shift once schools are back in session in August to 12:30pm-8:30pm (Monday-Saturday) This is an in-studio role that may occasionally require light travel to nearby schools. You’ll be on your feet for parts of the day but will also have downtime during slower periods.

We are a school photography company that regularly works with students from K-12 grades. Do you enjoy working with kids? Because we are a school photography company, the security of our students and staff are our first priority. All of our staff must pass a background check before starting with us. If you have any issues from the past, you may not pass this background check. Are you sure you can pass a FBI background check? In June and July, our work days are Tuesday- Saturday 9am-5:30p. Saturdays are generally our busiest days. Are you available during these days and time? In August, our studio hours adjust with the public school times. Our work days change to Monday- Saturday 12:30p-8:30p. As a studio assistant, would you be able to adjust to these change in days and hours?
