Interiors Photographer & Editor 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Secaucus, NJ 07094 • Hybrid work Artistic Tile is seeking a talented and experienced Interiors Photographer + Editor . This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a visually driven environment and has a deep understanding of lighting, styling, and composition in interior spaces. You will lead the photography effort for our luxury brand, producing exceptional imagery that showcases our products within stunning, stylized environments. The position encompasses interior location photography, product photography, event photography, and portrait photography, as well as photo-editing and retouching, all with a refined editorial sensibility. Our imagery is featured in national advertising campaigns, trade shows, newsletters, and some of the industry’s top design publications. The ideal candidate has experience shooting high-end residential and commercial interiors, a sharp eye for detail, a keen sense of interior styling and architecture, and[ME1] a proven track record working collaboratively with creative teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead and execute all interior photography shoots – from concept to final delivery – capturing luxury tile installations in a variety of architectural and styled environments Scout, select, and prep interior locations that showcase our products with an emphasis on scale, natural lighting, and spatial context Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visual storytelling strategies that align with brand aesthetics and campaign goals Style and direct interior scenes in collaboration with the Creative Director of Marketing to achieve high-impact results Oversee the post-production process, including detailed retouching, color correction, compositing, and final image optimization for print and digital platforms Create and present mood boards that define styling, lighting, and art direction for interior shoots Curate and manage a library of interior-focused assets in our Digital Asset Management system (Brandfolder), maintaining organization and quality control Mentor and supervise junior photographers/retouchers, ensuring consistent execution of the company’s interior photography standards Provide art direction and coaching during shoots, ensuring that composition, lighting, and styling meet brand expectations Maintain and manage all photography equipment related to location and interior work, including lighting kits, lenses, and camera gear Coordinate logistics for interior shoots, including scheduling, transportation, permits, and budgeting for props and equipment rental Stay current with industry trends in interiors photography, lighting techniques, and editing tools to enhance image quality and workflow efficiency Implement and refine standard operating procedures that ensure a consistent visual identity across all interior photography projects Represent the photography team in meetings with marketing, design, and external partners, effectively communicating project needs and timelines Assist with the hiring, training, and onboarding of new photography team members Occasionally support product photography projects and collaborative campaigns when needed

Requirements:

Proven experience photographing interiors for luxury brands, editorial publications, or high-end real estate/design clients Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One, and other industry-standard photography and editing software Strong knowledge of architectural and interior lighting techniques, both natural and artificial Excellent styling instincts, with the ability to bring a space to life through thoughtful propping and composition Comfortable directing creative teams and working autonomously on-location. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Salary Range:

$60-$70K commensurate with experience
