job summary: A Technical Writer is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation. Remote work. The role involves creating and managing technical documentation for software and hardware developers, requiring programming knowledge, markdown proficiency, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Remote, Remote job type: Contract salary: $52.18 – 78.27 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates responsibilities: Create and maintain developer-facing documentation for HorizonOS.Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
Draft and edit technical and process documentation.
Support the release and user adoption of software.
Document multiple programming languages and development platforms.
Create and maintain code samples and sample applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of experience writing documentation for engineers.
Experience with programming languages like C++ (or similar).Proficient in markdown content formatting.
Able to interpret and explain example code.
Experience using source control tools (e.g., Git) for content management.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, English, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with VR/MR technologies.strong project ownership, project management, and self-direction.
Collaborative and deadline-driven across multiple teams.
