We are looking for Art Teachers to engage ourScholars in fostering a love for art, exploring the creativeprocess, and highlighting their artistic talents. In thisrole, you will: Build a safe and joyful classroom culture in whichscholars develop a love for art; Engage students in the creativeprocess and foster their talents, while deepening their knowledgeand understanding of art, design, and art history; Collaborate withArt Teachers across the network to build a premier art program,while cultivating a school environment that prioritizes aestheticsand makes learning visible to the community; Build a culture ofself-expression, and utilize the inquiry-based teaching andlearning approach as a way to press scholars’ critical andconceptual thinking about art; Engage in multiple ProfessionalDevelopments to benefit from targeted, in-the-moment feedback oninstruction, accelerating learning and growth with unparalleledsupport. We invite you to apply if you: Have graduated with aBachelor’s degree in Visual, Fine, or Studio Arts (Painting,Drawing, Sculpture, and Ceramics) or Art Education; Have anoutstanding record of academic achievement; Have an art or arteducation portfolio that showcases your skill-set, and demonstratesyour passion for art and learning; Have experience with holisticexposures to art and art history; Possess the ability to setambitious goals for yourself and set high expectations for yourScholars; Embrace collaboration. Exact compensation may vary basedon skills and experience.
