Ceramics Teachers Description:
Artspace’s ceramics education program is in its start-up phase. We seek to create a core group of 4-8 dynamic, experienced, versatile ceramics faculty to teach a range of subjects and age groups, from wheel-throwing to hand-building and from youth through adult. This core group will help execute the vision for amunity clay studio in Greenfield that Artspace has been working toward since early 2023, and faculty will be the main stewards of a studio culture that is inclusive, weing, and warm for a diversemunity.
This is an exciting moment in Artspace’s 50+ year history, and an opportunity to participate in the launch of a brand-newmunity resource in Greenfield.

Because this program is a start-up, the faculty will play a role in developing and refining studio operations. The final course offerings and schedule will be determined after hires are made.
The payscale for teaching positions varies based on age group, class type, and instructor qualifications. Please see this document for thepensation rubric. Pay ranges from $35-$64/hour
