Job Description
The Bromfield School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic full-time high school French teacher to join our school community at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
Job Qualifications
Education:
Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in French at the appropriate grade level
Current authorization to work in the United States
Preferred candidates will possess:
Experience teaching French at the high school level.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience teaching all levels, including AP, is preferred
Knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework as well as the ACTFL standards and proficiency guidelines.
The ability to establish effective working relationships with students, caregivers, colleagues, and the community.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A collaborative approach to professional practice.
A teacher-learner mindset; willingness to engage in professional activities to enhance pedagogical practices.
