Position Overview:

We are seeking a mission-minded Spanish Teacher to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, passionate about language and culture, and fully committed to teaching from a biblical worldview. This is more than a language course — it’s a discipleship opportunity to inspire students to appreciate the beauty of language as a gift from God and a tool for gospel witness in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach high school Spanish I and II (or more advanced levels, depending on enrollment and qualifications). Create a joyful, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural appreciation. Integrate Scripture and biblical truth into instruction, helping students see language as part of God’s created order and redemptive plan. Encourage excellence in grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Provide opportunities to explore Spanish-speaking cultures with discernment and appreciation, through a Christian lens. Participate fully in the spiritual and community life of the school. Collaborate with fellow faculty to model and uphold the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications:

A mature and growing faith in Jesus Christ and a clear commitment to biblical authority in every area of life. Must be actively engaged in a Biblical church community Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Language Education, or a related field (Master’s degree or teaching experience preferred). Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish; ability to teach all aspects of language development. Passion for classical Christian education and a biblical vision of cultural engagement. Strong classroom management skills and a heart for mentoring students. Teachable, joyful, and committed to excellence.

Preferred Qualities:

Experience teaching in a classical Christian school or understanding of classical methodology. Ability to build relationships with students and parents in a way that reflects Christ. A vision for equipping students to serve Christ globally through cross-cultural understanding and communication.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$12,000.00 – $32,000.00 per year
