Full Job Description Job Description:

The Louisiana High School Coaches Association (LHSCA), a division of the LHSAA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as its next Director. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, program oversight, event planning, fundraising, and strategic leadership of the Association. Key duties include managing all-star events across multiple sports, organizing the annual summer coaches’ clinic, overseeing membership programs, facilitating Executive Council communications, and enhancing the visibility and mission of the LHSCA through public relations and educational outreach. The Director will report directly to the LHSAA Executive Director and collaborate with the LHSCA Executive Council. Ideal candidates will bring a passion for high school athletics, proven leadership experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to shape the future of coaching and high school sports in Louisiana. Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of high school coaching experience, with at least 5 years as an LHSCA member OR 3 years as a school administrator for grades 7-12 OR A combination of coaching and administrative experience approved by the LHSCA Executive Council and LHSAA Executive Director Past service on LHSCA committees (preferred) Deep understanding of high school athletics and the mission of the LHSCA Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to coordinate large events, travel logistics, and committee meetings Experience with budgeting, fundraising, and grant writing Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web/social media management High ethical standards and a commitment to equity and inclusion Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, school staff, and external stakeholders
