Job Type:

Part-time (6-7 hours/week before meets)

Pay:

$20+/hr based on experience

Additional Hours:

Opportunities available to assist with older training groups

Season Schedule:

Fall/Winter Season:

September to early March (includes one week off over Christmas)

Spring/Summer Season:

Late March to end of July (includes two weeks off in mid-March)

Off Roles and Responsibilities:

Implement training programs developed by the Head Coach or Lead Assistant Coach. Provide individualized feedback to help athletes improve technique, endurance, and performance. Foster a positive and supportive team environment focused on sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth. Responsible for meet entries for your training group. Participate in meet preparation, team events, and parent meetings. Attend coaches’ meetings (typically via Zoom on select Sunday evenings). Communicate clearly and consistently with swimmers, parents, and staff.

Coaching Days:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday Attend all home meets and championship meets your group qualifies for. Send a monthly email update to parents with group highlights and important announcements. Respond to parent communications in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid Certification USA Swimming Coach Member in good standing

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
