Job Description The Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics (PERA) Department is seeking an individual with experience working within a community of diverse students and colleagues. Successful candidates will by their teaching, coaching, administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics, the department and our community. PERA is currently accepting applications for a part-time, non-benefits eligible, .40 FTE Assistant Coach of Volleyball.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the program; including the planning and execution of successful and challenging practices, coaching during the non-traditional and traditional season, player development, game preparation, recruiting, scouting, fundraising and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Start date is August 1, 2025
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required and 1-3 years of work related experience. The successful candidate must have collegiate playing experience, leadership skills, role modeling, organizational, and interpersonal skills and have an understanding of NCAA Division III regulations. Experience using Front Rush recruiting software a plus but not required. Valid driver’s license and clearance to drive College vehicles required. CPR/AED/First Aid certification required upon hire. A complete background check will be conducted.
