$35.3K – $44.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Driver’s License Swimming Bachelor’s degree First Aid Certification Entry level Full Job Description Lehman College | Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Lehman College, a NCAA Division III member of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC), seeks candidates for Assistant Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving. Roles and requirements include, but are not limited to:

• extensive, diverse knowledge in swimming and/or diving.
• ability to deliver instruction and coaching cues in a healthy manner, conducive to the athlete’s success.
• support student-athlete recruitment, from identifying to enrolling to retaining.
• planning of workouts, practices, and meets
• ability to foster a culture of compliance and academic success
• knowledge of and adherence to NCAA rules and regulations
• ability to orchestrate practice as second coach, in the event the head coach is unavailable Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and coaching experience.

Must possess or be willing to obtain certifications in CPR/First Aid and AED. Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license at the time of hire and be able to work weekday evenings and weekends, including mornings and at meets. This is a part-time position that may include out-of-season roles such as recruiting and communication with recruits, students, and staff.
