Economics Job Title Visiting Assistant Professor Posting Number P2058F Job Description Summary Auburn University’s Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure eligible position at the Visiting Assistant Professor level for the academic year 2025-26. This appointment is for one year and may be renewed by mutual agreement contingent upon availability of funds, the need for services, and satisfactory performance. A successful candidate will teach three courses (9 credit hours) per semester. Course assignments may include, but are not limited to, Microeconomics – principles through graduate level, Public Economics, and Regulatory Economics. Ph.D. in Economics or a related field is required by the time employment begins. We seek a candidate with strong evidence of effective teaching in the relevant areas.
