This role involves collaborating with teachers to ensure that the Montessori principles are effectively integrated into the learning environment. The Montessori Instructional Coach also provides training, feedback, and resources to help teachers create enriched Montessori experiences for their students.

Responsibilities:
Curriculum Enhancement:

Collaborate with Montessori teachers to enhance the Montessori curriculum, ensuring alignment with Montessori principles and educational standards. Provide insights and resources for developing engaging and meaningful Montessori lessons.

Professional Development:

Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and professional development opportunities focused on Montessori pedagogy and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth among Montessori educators.

Observation and Feedback:

Conduct classroom observations to provide constructive feedback to Montessori teachers on their instructional techniques, classroom management, and student engagement. Collaborate with teachers to develop action plans for improvement.

Lesson Planning and Differentiation:

Assist Montessori teachers in designing individualized lesson plans that cater to students’ diverse learning needs and interests. Offer strategies for creating a well-rounded Montessori learning experience.

Montessori Philosophy Integration:

Work closely with educators to ensure the authentic implementation of Montessori philosophy, principles, and materials in the classroom. Provide guidance on creating a prepared environment that supports independent learning.

Classroom Management Strategies:

Share effective classroom management techniques within the Montessori framework, promoting self-discipline, responsibility, and cooperation.

Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate with school leadership, Montessori coordinators, and other instructional coaches to foster a cohesive Montessori educational environment. Offer support to teachers in addressing challenges and seeking solutions.

Resource Development:

Curate and develop Montessori-specific resources, materials, and tools to assist teachers in their instructional endeavors.

Qualifications:

Montessori teaching certification from a recognized Montessori training center. Several years of experience as a Montessori educator, demonstrating a deep understanding of Montessori principles and practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills to effectively collaborate with teachers. Experience in leading professional development workshops and training sessions. Proficiency in observing classrooms, providing constructive feedback, and supporting teacher growth. Comprehensive knowledge of Montessori materials, methods, and curriculum development. Dedication to preserving the essence of the Montessori philosophy while adapting to modern educational needs. Enthusiasm for fostering a positive and enriched Montessori learning environment. As a Montessori Instructional Coach, you contribute to the continued excellence of Montessori education by supporting and guiding educators in their pursuit of providing authentic and impactful Montessori experiences for students.

Job Type:
Part-time Pay:

$25.57 – $27.86 per hour
