Teaching Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Spanish Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students reach their full potential.

Duties:
  • Create and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
  • Use learning technology effectively to enhance instruction
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of all students, including those with special education requirements
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Plan and organize field trips, special events, and other educational activities
  • Assess student performance through various methods such as tests, projects, and presentations
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance
  • Collaborate with education administration to ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification/license
  • Proven experience working with elementary school students
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and instructional best practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
  • Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of special education principles and strategies is a plus
