Overview:

Academie da Vinci is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Elementary School Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. As an elementary teacher, you will play a key role in fostering academic growth, social-emotional development, and a love of learning in our students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards and curriculum objectives. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and safe. Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to promote active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents through regular communication and progress reports. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to plan and coordinate instructional activities, interventions, and school-wide initiatives. Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences and integrate 21st-century skills into the curriculum. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and community members through open communication, parent conferences, and involvement in school events. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching, assessment, and educational technology. Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and school policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution. Valid Florida Educator Teaching Certification or an Official Statement of Status of Eligibility. Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Knowledge of child development principles, educational theories, and best practices in elementary education. Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development as a teacher. Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team.
