Grade 5 Long Term Sub
The Mindess School is seeking a grade 5 Long Term Sub for the 2025-2026 academic year. Mindess is a vibrant learning community committed to academic excellence and the social-emotional growth of every student. Responsibilities include, and are not limited to: fostering an inclusive and joyful learning environment
lesson planning and implementation in accordance with the MA Curriculum Frameworks administering and analyzing assessments
data collection to inform instruction communicating responsibly with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership
maintaining classroom and school-wide expectations and routines
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; degree in education preferred
Valid teaching license Prior teaching in upper elementary grades preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with students and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
Flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
