Please DO NOT apply if you do not already reside in the local area within a reasonable driving distance or plan to schedule a an interview and then not show up. This is a contract position that will run through 2025-2026 school year from the date of hire. An undergraduate degree is education or related field (read below) is required. Teaching certification/license is NOT a requirement for the position. Salary will be based on education and experience.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Possess an undergraduate degree in education, child/family development, math, language arts, sciences or related field. Degree in Psychology is not accepted.
• Be able to lead and manage a class of up to 20 children
• Be able to use positive guidance and discipline skills to guide children
• Resolve parent concerns, conduct assessments and hold parent-teacher meetings
• Be willing to work M-F and as late as 6 pm.
