The UAB Department of Gastroenterology is recruiting gastroenterologists to join a community based UABGastroenterology practice located at the UAB Medicine Multispecialty Clinic at Baptist Medical Center South, a UAB Medicine affiliate hospitalin Montgomery, Alabama. These are non-academic, 100% clinical based positions that will provide community based inpatient and outpatientgastroenterology services. There is also opportunity to participate in theteaching responsibilities of third and fourth year medical students at theUAB School of Medicine region campus and participate in the UABDivision of Gastroenterology and Hepatology faculty meetings, clinicaltrials and educational offerings. The community hospital, Baptist Medical Center South provides support for the UAB Gastroenterology program including a fully staffed outpatient clinic, mid-level providers, experiencedclinic, procedural and hospital RN s as well as a dedicatedgastroenterology suite for procedures.
