Admissions and Enrollment Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Recruitment, the Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for monitoring and managing the admission process while providing administrative and technical support to the department. In this position, responsibilities include collecting data and analysis related to admissions trends, the demographics of applicants, and enrollment of new students..

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience in Post-Secondary Technical Education. Must have computer proficiency and experience with Enrollment Management Systems(Banner) and skills in the use of job-related software programs, such as MS Office-Word,Excel, and Salesforce Customer Relation Management System. Oversees all activities associated with admissions of new, re-entering, transfer, and transient students including developing and implementing policies and procedures to effectively meet the enrollment goals of the institution.

  • Maintains knowledge of enrollment processes/procedures and provides updates toupper management with the utilization of reports/graphs and or literature.
  • Monitors data entry of college applications and rectifies any errors as recognized by TCSG. Serves on the college’s enrollment, registration and QEP/onboarding team.
  • Conducts regular evaluation of admissions processes/procedures and services provided to adjust as needed.
  • Participates in meetings to ensure department goals are in line with TCSG or college goals.
  • Manage the team of admissions processors and assistants, overseeing and directing the processing of student applications for acceptance and admissions into regular and competitive programs.
  • Oversees all aspects of the execution and implementation of the Recruitment/Admissions Module for TargetX CRM (Application Builder, Application Forms, App Builder, Recruitment Manager).
  • Assists in monitoring the activities of personnel to ensure compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures.
  • Responsible for training admissions representatives to include the training for new admissions representatives regarding policies and procedures and in promoting improvement by providing needed additional training for individual admissions representatives or the department as a whole.
  • Collaborates with colleagues in a professional manner to provide advice and feedback necessary to plan and develop on-campus recruitment programs.
  • Engages with prospective students to explain and advise them about the admission process.
  • Serves as an admissions resource to faculty, staff, students, and the community.
  • Support and assist the Director of Admissions and Recruitment by providing regular reports and developing proposals for approval of the Vice President of Student Affairs.
  • Contributes to the overall success of the Office of Admissions by advising and assisting the Director of Admission and Recruitment and the Vice President of Student Affairs in all aspects relating to the admission of new students.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned to support recruiting and enrollment efforts.

Bachelor¿s degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education and Two (2) years of work related experience.
