Position Summary Information Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in college strength and conditioning. License/Certification Required CSCS and CSCCA Certification Required. Preferred Qualifications Essential Duties and Responsibilities The athletic program at Appalachian State University operates on the premise that intercollegiate athletics is an integral part of the institution’s overall program ofcation. Priority is given to high standards of both academic and athletic quality — the goal being theplete development of the student-athlete. This position provides strength training to student-athletes. Duties & Responsibilities include: 1. Direct responsibilities for year round programs for baseball and other assigned teams as needed.
3. Supervises athletics, Weight Room, inventory, and maintenance.
4. Rmend purchases regarding strength and conditioning equipment.
5. Work in conjunction with athletic trainers regarding injuries, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
6. Coordinate with coaches regarding scles and needs.
7. Commitment to andpliance with the University’s and Department of Athletics policies and prores as well as the Sun Belt and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations.
