Job Description:
The Coordinator of Educational Partnerships will support the development, organization, and maintenance of articulation agreements between SUNY Orange and pre-college programs, including BOCES and high schools, as well as four-year institutions to facilitate seamless transfer pathways. This position will also assist in mapping SUNY Orange plus courses to credit-bearing programs and provide seasonal support for the Community College in the High School (CCHS) registration process.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Articulation Agreements & Transfer Pathways:
Assist in developing and maintaining articulation agreements with high schools, BOCES, and four-year institutions.
Work closely with faculty and academic leadership to ensure alignment between associate degree programs and bachelor’s degree pathways.
Maintain accurate records of existing agreements and track renewal timelines. 2. SUNY Orange Plus, Experiential to
Credit Crosswalks:
Support the Lead Director in mapping non-credit courses to credit-bearing programs to enhance academic pathways for students.
Collaborate with faculty and workforce development teams to ensure consistency and alignment.
Assist Lead Director with administration of credit for prior learning assessment activities. 3. Community College in the High School (CCHS)
Registration Support:
Provide assistance to students, parents, and high school teachers during peak registration periods.
Respond to inquiries regarding CCHS enrollment, course selection, and program eligibility.
Coordinate follow-up communications to ensure smooth registration and payment processes. 4.
Administrative & Data Management:
Maintain organized records of agreements, crosswalks, and related documentation.
Generate reports on articulation agreements and transfer trends as needed.
Support outreach and communication efforts related to educational partnerships.
Requirements:
Education required: Associates degree or higher
Experience:
Experience in academic advising, articulation agreements, transfer pathways, or related areas preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, high school administrators, and transfer institutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
