POSITION OVERVIEW

 We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Lab Teacher for our middle school, responsible for delivering engaging instruction in Math, encompassing all areas of the subject. The ideal candidate will foster a love for Math and support student learning during scheduled classes.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate student learning in concepts and skills for Math
Implement lesson plans and adapt as necessary to meet student needs.
Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
Valid Connecticut certification 006, 029 or 229
Experience working with school-aged children

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual in Spanish/English

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Full-time/ School year
Union affiliation, if applicable
Salary per collective bargaining agreement or district scale
